Then the positioning of the paper is done on the garment with the applied heat and pressure. This results into the evaporation of the ink from the paper and its gets transformed to the garment. This is the method which is suitable for transferring the photo onto a piece of garment or clothing. Another popular method nowadays is the method of direct garment printing. In this method, an inkjet printer is used for printing a photo or an artwork directly onto the garment. This is very much similar to the process of printing the photo from the computer.
